Norbury Farm Cafe
About This Spot
Norbury Farm Cafe nestles quietly within the gentle rhythms of a working farm just beyond Hazel Grove, offering a moment of calm and comfort away from the hum of nearby town life. From the moment you arrive, there’s an unmistakable warmth in the air, carried by friendly smiles and the quiet bustle of a place where genuine care steers every detail. The pace here invites you to slow down—to linger over a pot of tea or savor the soft sunlight that spills into the summer house or garden seating.
This is a cozy, unhurried café where every visit feels like a small, joyful discovery. The atmosphere is softly woven with the chatter of locals and families, creating a welcoming hum that’s both lively and intimate. Whether you’ve popped in for a relaxed breakfast or a leisurely afternoon tea, the essence is clear: this is a spot that nurtures connection and comfort through simple, thoughtfully prepared food and attentive service.
The menu reflects this approach beautifully, like a friendly conversation on a plate. You’ll find classic, heartening dishes such as fluffy scrambled eggs or a lovingly crafted burger and fries, alongside lighter treats that hint at the season—like local strawberries or a delicate white coconut sponge that feels almost like a little celebration. Each item feels mindful of the moment, offering a fresh, honest taste born from home-style cooking rather than haste or fuss.
Many visitors find joy not just in the food but in the genuine kindness the team extends—whether accommodating last-minute seating requests or crafting a “mystery” cake with a personal touch. The café’s charm is furthered by its thoughtful touches, such as seasonal decorations or the peaceful garden that invites relaxed conversation and summer gatherings alike.
Norbury Farm Cafe feels less like a stop on the map and more like a found place, where you appreciate the slower pace of rural life alongside familiar comforts—a place to gather, share, and pause as the farm quietly carries on around you.

Went in on Saturday morning to be greeted with smiley faces, upon being told the cafe was fully booked we were offered seating in the summer house which we thoroughly enjoyed. Despite how busy the girls were the service was top notch, which is a rare find nowadays. We both enjoyed our big breakfasts which were great value and served hot. Highly recommend, the staff really accomodated to us and made us feel comfortable. Definitely returning.

We had a fantastic time here last Saturday, a family lunch for 23 people. We had one long table outside under sunshades which worked really well. The food was excellent, the service was amazing…we had a really lovely time. My mango, feta and bacon salad was delicious and beautifully presented, my seabass was cooked perfectly and my lemon mousse was gorgeous. Thank you to Chris and her team, for a fabulous family lunch!

I had such a lovely experience. I was served by these two sweet sisters who filled my strange request of a mystery cake and drink and boy did they not underserve. The cafe was so quaint and lovely with the essence of small village cafe and was decorated with needle felted spiders for halloween. Overall it was a great experience and i recommend the victoria sponge.

Lovely cafe tucked off the main road. Friendly staff, freshly cooked food (you can see inside the clean kitchen from the courtyard), reasonably priced. Lots of inside and outside seating. A bit of the courtyard leading to the parking area is cobbled so be careful if riding up.
